THIS LIFE IS NOT AN ORDINARY ONE. THIS LIFE MAY NOT EARN YOU A LOT OF MONEY BUT IT WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF LIFE. I GUESS THAT'S WHAT MATTERS IN THE END.

Alex was not having a good week. It was the start of his Christmas vacation. He was having a breakdown. His best friend was out of town. Things could have been better if he was there but he had his sister. He wondered why bad things happened to good people. His karma had been pretty good so far. He never harmed anyone. He was kind and helpful. He was a pacifist. He liked overthinking, though. He believed in The Law of Attraction. He thought the reason for his bad luck was his mindset. He always thought that actions had a greater impact than thoughts. Nowadays everything he touched would turn bad. A girl asked him to hug him. He refused. He was a big fan of 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'. He liked 'The people who did not sleep with other people, even when they could have'. But this was hugging. Life was complicated.

His only support was his sister. His sister 'Alexa' was his twin. It is not a misconception that twins have a special connection. They had an awesome chemistry. Whenever their parents fought, Alexa would always find a solution to calm things down. Though she was only 12 seconds older than Alex, she was like an older sister. Alexa was like Alex's second best friend. She was always there for him. They would always go for stargazing on a Saturday night. Alex always wished that he could be as brave as Alexa. Alexa loved traveling and dreamt of being a modern hippie, without the drugs part. She said that "Never stay in one place. That is the secret to staying away from sadness and attachment".

Alexa had her demons but she never wanted them to hurt her loved ones. Alex and Alexa shared a common interest in sneakers. Alex thought that as long as Alexa was with him, he was home.He thought that his sadness couldn't get worse but one day he had a mental breakdown. He locked himself in his room. He started crying because he thought that being at his house was tying him down. Maybe he was also wanderlust like his sister. He was angry at his mom for never letting him enjoy his freedom. His mom used to taunt him that all that Alex used was his father's and he should use it wisely. He thought maybe if that was what his parents wanted then they shouldn't have given birth to him in the first place. He was so mad of living under his parents' salary and rules that he took his favorite backpack and slammed it hard into the window. He heard, "Ouch!".

He opened the window. Alexa had climbed over a tree and in Alex's balcony. She would often do it when she was sneaking in the house after a sleepover at her friends. She said, "Let's take a ride to the hill". The hill was their favorite place to roam. The weather was always perfect there. They got in their dad's pickup truck and set off. Alex said, "I hate riding in this thing. It is cozy but I feel that this is a curse, like a loan that I can't pay". Alexa smiled and said, "I have walked that road before". She put on some Green Day and The 1975. Alexa looked outside the window and felt calm. The way Billie was singing, he thought that he could relate. He was lost in his world while he saw the pine trees at the side who had the most beautiful sunshine on them Alex had ever seen. Just then Alexa took a severe right. Everything was a blur from then. All he could see was blood. Alexa was screaming, "Help Us! Somebody, please help us!". He got a glance of Alexa kicking the door and a hand coming towards Alexa before Alex fainted.
